Eco Housing Solutions Africa (EHS) has announced a working partnership with National Housing and Construction Company (NHCC) ahead of the Urbanisation Forum and Homes and Gardeners Expo 2026, scheduled for 5–6 September 2026 in Kampala.
The partnership brings together two organisations committed to advancing Uganda’s housing and urban development agenda, with focus on affordable housing, sustainable construction, investment, urbanisation and better-planned cities.
With more than six decades of experience, National Housing brings extensive institutional knowledge to the collaboration, while EHS continues to champion innovation and strategic partnerships around housing, sustainability, urbanisation and smart cities.
Eng. Kenneth Kaijuka, Managing Director of NHCC, welcomed the collaboration:
For over 60 years, National Housing has contributed to Uganda’s housing sector. This partnership with EHS strengthens collaboration towards sustainable housing, better-planned cities and continued sector growth.
Dr. Edwin Musiime, Managing Director of EHS, highlighted the importance of combining experience with innovation:

NHCC will participate in the Urbanisation Forum and Homes Expo 2026, contributing to high-level discussions on housing delivery, investment, sustainable communities and Uganda’s urban future.
The events will convene government leaders, developers, investors, financial institutions, architects, engineers, urban planners and other industry stakeholders.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to stronger public-private collaboration, unlocking investment and transforming industry dialogue into practical solutions for affordable housing and sustainable urban development across Uganda.
